He asks the question, “is there a biological basis for this kind of taxonomy? No. In fact there is 8.6 times as much genetic variation within traditionally defined racial groups than between them.”

while exploring the racial inequity in southern states like Mississippi, she emphasizes how racial inequity exists in every part of our nation. I think this is important because many people leave their poorer hometowns in search of a more progressive city, but their moving doesn’t solve much.
