So... I finally know what happened to Bethany. And I should have realised that this novel is quite obviously written by an englishman, because it, like many of the Crime Dramas that come out of the UK, is about the affect events have on the people around them as opposed to who did the deed. Don't get me wrong, this is NOT a bad thing :)

I keep on thinking "What the Hell happened to Bethany Wilder, Why is Mark running? What ha he done" I'm an avid action fan, so my current theory is that he killed her...
