So, I actually cried a little in the first couple of pages. Mainly having to do with the concept feeling abandoned and probably never seeing his younger sister again. Then also how his grandparents don’t really want him because of his choice in gender, while also his horrible decision making. It’s very disheartening to read, but the drunken guys scene got me even more then it should have! I felt so bad!
