A literary success. Wonderful characterisations, language use sublime and a grief ridden story that held my attention throughout. The relationship of Shakespeare with his father and Children and Agnes was a fascinating sideshow to Agnes and her struggles to hold life together for her family. The ending was so well written and the full understanding of Shakespeare's love became exposed in his production of Hamlet.
