I found the first 2 chapters enthralling, but my interest quickly dipped after hearing way too much about historical white men bickering about science. It gets real boring, perhaps because I've already heard enough of it during my formal biology education. Maybe me choosing to read a history book is the problem here. Currently trying to skim through to the interesting bits.
