Excellent book about the siege of Malta. I was unaware of how harrowing the conditions were as both Malta and Gozo endured 3 bombing sorties a day involving 200 bombers from Sicily each. Owing to the small footprint of the island, there were more bombs dumped on Malta than on mainland Britain during world war 2!
