I started by listening to this novel, but I think that I'm going to need to pick it up and read it, if not starting over at the beginning, then at least to finish it. My narrator (librivox volunteer) is understandable and pleasant to listen to, but I think a lot of inflection and tension is lost through her slow pacing and equivalent weight on each word. The story is starting to chill, nonetheless.
