Holy crap, initially thought Lark would be the bird in title but it’s the other way around and she becomes the sword eventually? Or both? Hats off to the writer anyway, very clever!

Cuz he's so so cold. I love this book cuz The wedding ceremony, when Lark is bullied into leaving but stays put that was awesometacular, so so bad ass, and the mom is bad ass too. Tiras came on his own later, it's not easy to be what he is, but there were times I thouht she deserved better.

That's my guess anyway, but I love love love this book and I wish you had devoured it like I did, Amy harmon is my favorite writer ever!!!
I’m hoping to finish it this month, I have been procrastinating too much. I think Tiras will eventually grow on me :))
