I’ve only read the first chapter and I’ve already cried. If you currently feel depressed or have ever felt that way in the past, the ending of the first chapter is just how reading this feels: “I rather hope you can receive it as intended; the handwritten note of one who wishes you well. Such notes or grace I too have sorely needed.”
