Lawd, lawd, landlawd!
I've been stuck & can't seem to progress beyond page 112.
It's not a bad Western novel. It's above average for the genre but I'd rather be reading something by Jonathan Latimer or some other screwball hardboiled-pulpish mystery if not a fantasy-adventure/SF/horror number.
Cherie Priest's Steampunk novel, BONESHAKER has kind of spoiled me.

Hot a slow patch -not the fault of the writing...I just spent most of Saturday night & all day Sunday watching stupendously stupid action-adventure movies on Netflix.
I'd like my brain back now, please.
Note: while this in no way could be mistaken for an Elmore Leonard, Ed Gorman, James Reasoner, Harry Whittington, Frank Castle, or Richard Wormser Hardboiled Western, it is an enjoyable read.
