It's probably the kid who survived. He's the one messing with her. Maybe he believes she did kill the family

This entire situation could have been avoided if she just told the truth from the beginning. I would have ran away too. I mean sure maybe I would have called the police once I was in the safety of my home but who would see a dead body and stay there so that the killer can come and kill them too
