Affection of Willem towards Jude was unconditional and subtle and beautiful

Jude and Willem's friendship was beautiful yet complicated as hell. There're too many unspeakable rules that Willem got to follow to maintain it. Also it feels very real, I can imagine such relationships exists in real life. There's a saying that I adored from Willem character: "Why was it [the keen friendship between the two man] admirable when you were twenty-seven but creepy when you were thirty-seven?"
