Seriously, still no mains that were so huge in the last book in this one. We have some minors every once in awhile. This book also always stays in the present and the same area/town. The last book jumped around some as needed. I liked the first book better so far, but this one is still good and there's a lot of pages left to uncover.

Good writing so far but it almost seems like another series entirely. None of the majors from the first have been referenced to or appeared. Instead it's through the viewpoint of several children. Hoping it starts tying together soon, although those new characters are likeable in their own ways.
