Randi Smith lady > Status Update

So far so good. I've been reading a chapter a day with my 10 year old granddaughter. This book is a little bit above her reading level but she loves wolves. The author uses a lot of similes and metaphors which my granddaughter has a hard time understanding sometimes. She is a very literal child. So we take turns reading pages in the chapter, discuss, and predict what will happen next.
