there's sth abt the way demons are described & talked abt that reminds me of how ppl talk abt black women. sexualising them & demonising that same sexualisation within the same breath. & the mc getting the same treatment mixed black kids get of "any mixed kid will b beautiful i just wanna touch their hair"
