I underestimated how much time I would have to read this summer, and now I'm 25 books ahead of my reading goal. What are some fantastic books you guys would recommend? Any genre would be appreciated: YA, classics, nonfiction, etc.

I just read A Tale for the Time Being which was a nice adult-literary change of pace from the kid lit/ YA I'm usually reading.

Both on my to-read list now, thank you guys! They both appear like non-mainstream reads, so that's exciting.
From your 'to read' list alone, 4 books I loved - Rapture Practice, Everybody Sees the Ants, Punkzilla and Crank.
Wonderful, thanks everyone! Recommending books that are already on my to-read list helps too, because I can elevate them in comparison to the other books (having over 700 books on your "to-read" shelf might not be the best idea...)
Well there is The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. They are both excellent and on your TBR list.
Leave Myself Behind by Bart Yates is great, and would be a great summer read. Very funny but touching and thought provoking too-I fell in love with the characters. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
I'm gonna look into all these suggestions for myself, see if there's anything I think I might enjoy.
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King is pretty good. I couldn't put it down, and it was a pretty quick read!
Noggin by John Corey Whaley is absolutely freaking fantastic. It's so fascinating and just plain funny. I'd totally recommend it to everyone.
Thank you so much everyone! All of these look fabulous (and please keep them coming if you have any titles on the tip of your tongue).
