I'm still in awe how well Stoker described Transylvania in Johnathan Harker's beginning section. It was so immersive! I especially loved the part where Dracula kept climbing the walls like a lizard. Granted, it sounds silly now, but if that were actually happening in the spooky castle to you? Less amusing, I imagine.
