What is up with white people (in this case, a man) still using indigenous people and superficial/stereotyped mysticism to drive their crappy “supernatural horror” plots? It’s inappropriate and unnecessary *if* the author has any originality, which doesn’t seem to be the case here. Unimpressed by Malerman so far.
