I thought it was nonfiction! A book about china's economy, but it's a collection of short stories. So you can imagine my confusion when I started it... Thankfully, it's off to a good start

In the first story, Lulu, the narrator is male and I knew the author is a woman, so out of confusion, I googled if she was transgender. Some clarification on the cover would have been helpful 😅
