Obviously very comprehensive and still popular classical textbook on the subject. Being an introduction level book, there are also (regarding my level) some really advance stuff in it. I would rather study from recent textbook by Steven H. Simon (2004?). More explanatory in the development of fundamental concepts. i also enjoy that there are lots of historical remarks, comments and fun-facts.
