it takes forever! i enjoyed the scenes of Levin mowing, the serenity that the author conveyed, but there was no need for it to last 15 pages (or there abouts)

So far, I'm really enjoying this book. I love the subtlety of the description of Vronsky and Anna's relationship.

It's a bit difficult with how long it is. I've been reading it for quite a while, but can't seem to make a dent in it, which is frustrating. Hopefully, it's worth it in the end.

it's a rich world that Tolstoy's created. I'm excited to meet the title character. there's been quite a build-up to her character, so I hope it doesn't disappoint.
