How do I still have 100 pages left? Now his editor is asking how his novel is going??? I am going to read Chicken Soup for the Soul after this, I swear

This is a great breakfast read because every time a new chapter begins I think “I can’t deal with this right now” and put it down to start my day.

How am I supposed to digest my breakfast reading about this guy being asked what his novel is about in front of a whole dinner party! Augh

Omg. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion if you’ve ever taught in the classroom. Will I make it through this???
