I feel repulsed. Like I'm the one who violated a person. Maybe that's the point of the book. To place the reader as an active participant, the doer instead of the observer. Maybe then, people who romanticize behaviors that violate another human being will see it for what it actually is- a violation, and not some fetish a person can justify or put a spin into a good and pleasant frame.
