It's 2022 and people still use "jakun" as an insult??? I don't know if the author is trying to use it as satire or what, but I really don't appreciate it.
It's a slur, and an insult to the aboriginal Jakun people. Do better, people, and stop using slurs.
Gosh this kinda ruined my mood for the book.

I don't really like the main character personally, but I have to admit that he's pretty good in his work. I am intrigued on how he's going to work on his future cases, so hopefully I'll like this book better soon.
