rereading sad books to feel something

im loving all the extremely subtle tonal shifts in vanessa's narration.

i’m mentally fan casting the movie of this around myself because i’m sick :)

well fucking ew. now it’s especially gross that i’m picturing me from 7 years ago and mikey b if he was 16 years older. i do not like that but this book is sucking me in.

i hate how the characters in this book are dead ringers for me and my hot sophomore english teacher. me: a 15 year old, asocial, self hating redhead. him: an older man with curly dark hair and beard. fortunately, he was an awkward clown that routinely got bullied by his own students so he had no business grooming anyone. i don’t think he had any interest either, but that’s beside the point.
