If I never have to read another heroine being described as "shrieking" I will forever be happy. Authors for the love of everything please stop making your heroines sound like harpies. Shrieking is not flattering by any means.

Yesss! I hate it when authors write about women shrieking or screaming--as a way to describe how they're talking. It's an awful stereotype and just...no.
