Oh my god this is delicious so far.
Cassandra's father was executed as a traitor, and she's in dire straits. Without any legitimate options, she agrees to spy against another traitor, knowing that it will very well ruin her in every sense of the word. But Phillip, her fellow spy, has feelings for her that are expressed through jealousy and rage, so Cass feels more alone than ever. Meanwhile, Phillip pines.
