I'm not really feeling this one so far. There's too much rambling in first person and going off on tangents happening, back and forth, back and forth, instead of a solid story to follow. There's no structure to it, either, so it's confusing at times when it switches time periods without clear indicators. I'll try to keep going with it for now.
