I can write a full review just to that forewords. I am not claiming that I understood it 100%, but it certainly educated, and inspired me.

She describes her questions, her motivations and the circumstances of writing the novel. She eventually discussed how the inability to fight had allowed black people to mind themselves (which is a very interesting and genuine take)
