lovely character development of the empress. relationships with everyone in the palace were great and thus surprisingly devastating when it all came to an end due to the weakness and fear of a few cowards. Had to stay up to keep reading to watch the fallout. Now, waiting for the remaining chapters to be translated. I hope the finale is as strong as the rest of the novel. please don't let me down webnovel.
