Well so much for that, I'm 50 pages in and already loving it. Helen Hollick is a true craftswoman, her skill at description is short and sweet, not laboured and boring, as a result I can almost feel the Sea Witch under my feet, taste the sea spray,..This book I will savour, like a well prepared dish of Jollof rice, Dodo , and Peppered Snail.

I read the last two books over a year ago and loved them. I refused to read this one because I knew it would be the last one and I didn't want it to end. Got no books to read, so I guess I'm going to have to read it.
