Switching to a paper copy! YAY! Man, I do not like our heroine's aunt.

And our hero returns!

I am hoping to get a paper copy of this book ASAP. I'm looking forward to it immensely. Must say, I am a bit tired of all the weeping and fainting, but otherwise am enjoying this read.

The first strains of the Gothic have been struck. Oooh, I am enjoying this book. Slow start, maybe, but worth every page of build up.

My kingdom for a paper copy of this book! Capital R Romanitic, as in the era with its grand scenes of man and nature. And a little small r romantic for romance as well. I keep thinking of "Room with a View"- I may need to reread and compare since View is "modern" where Udolpho is, well, historic.

The plot thickens! Oh, I wonder what St. Aubert is hiding... Determined to read at least one chapter daily now.

One chapter in. Not bad so far. I can see why some reviewers thought the beginning boring, but the character depth it adds is worthwhile in my opinion.
