Finally arrived at the gratuitous portion of the story...the background of "the subject's" present male friend.

A profile has been completed of "the subject" and now the investigators have to find him/her before they kill another boy.

This is the first book, ever, that is set in Israel. Learning some new words and terms. Cool.

The midpoint really stalls the plot by diverging from "the subject" to an interoffice romance which is not required and feels like just filler to add pages to the book. So sad.

I love how the author revealed the antagonists' name and job early on, yet still refers to the person as "the subject." Was the early reveal just a ruse??

Amazing written plot and characters. The antagonist, while somewhat known, it kept in enough of a cloak of mystery to remain an enigma of sorts.

Dark, mysterious and witty read so far.

Liking this story so far. Interesting plot and protagonist.
