Starting where the first book left off. We find Nina and Emily captured by The Forgotten, as of now Mikey is no where in sight. Clearly, these two have been beaten and tortured to no end. If she wasn’t trying to be strong for Emily, Nina probably would have given up by now.

We are introduced to Hilary and Deacon. They found themselves in a house that is lacking in supplies and security. They have made a plan to increase their protection surrounding their house as well as going on a supply run before the winter months kick in.
Im curious to see where the author takes these two.
