Re-reading something easy and familiar to get back into it again for the year as usual. I really have missed these idiots.

Nope! Never going to like any of the opposing team members, especially since I'm still not sure I like the members of their team half the time yet. All this mystery around the team, their backstories, and the connections they have to each other is killing me. I need to know more!

This book! Seriously, I don't know whether I want to hate it or love it, but, either way, there's no escape now. I need to know everything! This group of broken misfits with dodgy backstories that are addictively compelling, what have I got myself into?

The more I learn about Neil, the more he breaks my heart. And, Andrew, what the hell is going on with him. This is the fastest I've managed to get through a book in ages because I'm so gripped it's hard to put it down.

And now I know what's in the duffel! No wonder he wanted to keep it locked up safe. At least Matt seems all right? So far. Neil's lack of possessions is oddly saddening, and let's not even mention the reveal with Abby.

Wow, okay, then, so there's all that. What even are their lives.

Not sure where this book has been all my life, but I'm already hooked. The game, the characters, the whole thing!
