Stone has returned and has propose to Alex so romantic loved this part of the story.

Alex and Stone have given each other a second opportunity.

Alex is reading all the letters Stone (Drew) wrote during the years he disappeared. Alex has realized she'd been unfair and cruel to him

Alex and Memaw have are surviving loosing Papa. Even after the lost she suffered when her parents died she finds herself again facing yet another painful lost. And now with the returned of Stone (Drew) she's encountered mix feelings of rage, anger, disappointment and yet still attracted to him.

Her papa has passed and she feels the same pain as she felt when her parents died in that terrible accident. After suffering an attempt that almost killed her she was saved once again by Drew. But after being dd with acute stress disorder she is home to plan the burial for her papa he is there waiting for her

Upon returning from packing her stuff from her parents home she discovers that Drew Foster have left her. This put her through painful years trying to figure if it was all a lie or part of her imagination. Now she's a doctor and has signed up to joined the army to cover her medical career.

Alex mom died too and she's has managed to find some solace with Drew. Now she's ti face yet another difficult moment when her mom is buried leaving her an orphan.
