The first chapter really is brilliant and like nothing I've ever read. I could go on and on; it blew me away. I'm definitely enjoying the book a lot. Gaddis sets up the characters beautifully. The way he wove Otto's story into Wyatt's was awesome, but it didn't feel abrupt or out of place. I'm excited to find out where this book will go.
Haha yes, I came across those footnotes. They were soooo helpful for the first chapter. I have no idea how Gaddis comes up with so many obscure references without it feeling like he's just showing off. The man's a genius haha
