Parts of this how-to, self help guide is written with such heartfelt prose it sings and the reader is carried along on the heart's currents. Other sections feel obligatory, as if the writer has abandoned interest now that she's won the prize or at least found new motivations for communicating and getting up each day that don't require feigned interest. Still, I'm glad she wrote it and that I read it.
