I enjoy how easy to read the book is (simply wording) and that, although it's not perfect, the main character has faith in the Lord (which is unlike so many other books of the same Christian-historical-fiction genre I read).

Cute so far, and I enjoy the overall plot idea. Pretty cover, too!
However, the book has the cliche my-past-is-so-messed-up-I-need-to-renew-myself-I'll-be-different you see in many Christian romances. There's also setup for an annoyingly obviously "plot twist" there will be towards the end. But definitely good enough to keep reading! 3.5/5 stars so far.
