Let it be known that I am totally fine being a kept boy/woman and that I will absolutely let anyone throw money at me to make my problems go away.

There was nothing to be done, no reassurances that could give either of us confidence that we wouldn’t have a catastrophic ending. The only thing I could do was center myself in the here and now.

He sounded so shattered. It was as if he honestly didn't believe my concern was genuine. I wanted to find whoever had made him feel so poorly about himself and strangle them. There was a shine to him somewhere, but someone along the way had made him feel useless. Worthless.

We had the same parents lol
