Bone was talking to Ted about what there plan is to defend there friends but then they called Bone three times to tell him that they caught a dragon,Bone went to go check if it was a dragon but it was not they dragon it was not a dragon it was one of his friend that he found on a cave of the first book.

Thorn woke up to a big mammal, then Thorn see's a throne in which she says it's not her.

Bone and Smiley went back to the barn to go get the cub so that they can release it out into the forest, then the leader of the evil cubs he said to them to go attack bones village, Bones cousin went to go look for him in the barn but he was not there but he only found Thorn's sword. Thorn was in the forest but lonely until she started hearing noises from the soldiers but she was just dreaming.

Bone tries to convince Thorn in helping him sneak the cub but she refuses and says she wants to go back to sleep. Then bone talks with Lucius and talks about what they are going to do for the battle thats going to happen.

Later on Thorn wakes up from the knocking on the door and it was lucuis and he was shocked that she woke up from bed. The the leader from the evil rat cubs wanted to take back for killing the king cub and was ready for the battle. Bone found out that the friendly cub had to be out of the barn before night before something worse happens to it.

Bone was trying to look for Thorn on the woods but was struggling to find her but then he encountered a harmless Rat Cub but then went on to look for her. Later he found Thorn grandmother on a house sleeping then wanted to check the house to see if Thorn was there but heard noises on the kitchen but apparently some people were having a feast. Later on before that he found Thorn sleeping in the other room.
