Honolulu has turned into a massive military base it seems like in under a day and everyone is scared the Japanese are gonna come back for round 3. 💣🤓

The Japanese came back the second time and hit a large carrier chip which exploded. Hundreds of men came up from the water covered in oil, blinded, and sometimes seconds away from dying.

They were fishing when they saw Japanese planes overhead. They thought it was a movie being made at first. They thought the bombs were cool but the looked a little, “to real.” A bomb hit really close to their boat and knocked the 2 boys out of the boat. One of them was hanging on to the side and the other find his way back on. Both being wounded, found their way back to the pier.

It’s getting Intense. You know what’s going to happen you just don’t know when 🇯🇵✈️

Adam, the protagonist, experiences many things following the attacks of Pearl Harbor that change him not only physically but very much mentally. The author states, “Nobody, however young, returns from war still a boy” (Harry Mazer 1.) this quote is proved in which a boys mind during war changes from more immature understandings of things tomorrow real world topics such as mortality and adulthood.
