There is a little something that is happening now with the 'gift' and hidden texts that are sacred. but the issues is that these are all elements that have been mentioned and not adapted into the plot.
Definitely more interesting but against no Christian colorations.

A quick note: Hope sings a forbidden song and teaches it to others. The justification is this "Yes, how could you my innocent child, know that the song was forbidden when you taught it to the others." My mind automatically goes to the fall of man when Eve convinced Adam to eat the forbidden fruit and justifying her actions because of her 'innocents'. (hmm) :/

At this point i have established two things. The first, being that there is no worthy plot in this book and we are well over halfway. I took the liberty to recite the events that occurred so far to ask if anyone could come with theories of what was going to happen since I couldn't, but there was unanimous agreement that it lacked any plot so far and made no coloration to christian traditions.

I am giving this book the benefit of the doubt so far - I hope it pays off in the end, but if it does, wow the author is making me work for it.
