Whelp, the two new characters I mentioned in my review from last year is actually one new character with Dominic at the end of the volume. Not reading them close together got me confused.

Seeing Keifer have more planned for Josh/Marleen’s situation is making me feel like he was the one who dropped the latter off at the hospital when he was young. The looming height’s a plus.

What's standing out to me the most from reading the first three chapters in one sitting (again) is the isolation both Marleen/Josh and Coyote feel at the werewolf compound. Because of their fallout in the last volume and the former's current predicament, how they'll move forward as a couple looks a little bleak.
The Snyder scene was still gross. Is he actually interested in Coyote, or just in sex?

I wasn't able to update last night after I finished Chapter 13 at my work study, but I finished the volume this morning after I woke up. I'll make the status updates now before I write my review this afternoon.

Gross Snyder trying to come on to Coyote scene aside, there's been some great angst this volume. Marleen's currently being held until the wolf pack decides their next steps (outside of taking measures against the Galland family), and Coyote's struggling with admitting his feelings to Marleen as he goes through his current heat.
The latter has come to the former in his wolf form, though, so we'll see.

My college library ended up ordering this as opposed to ILL it (the volume likely wasn't available for libraries to lend or my school had to pay). The same thing happened with Given's fourth volume. On one hand, at least my college community might discover BL for the first time.
