Just starting this book and already Dr. Charity Dean is pissing me off with her arrogant pompous bs. She's sure the next pandemic will come from Africa to the point where she learnt french so she could deal with it!? Everyone around her is scandalized that she was going to work in the 'shithole basement of the county clinic'? She 'likes crisis' and doesn't care about diabetes or obesity? Sounds psychopathic
