London is also the easiest town to sleuth in because the friendly local manual laborers are happy to tell you everything you need to know. I also am not impressed by Maisie's emphatic powers. And the descriptions of London could be more. Interesting enough premise, if not exactly high stakes.

This also might be the most depressing mystery ever. Sneaking out to mourn the dead. Also author is adorable thinking an entire graveyard would be located for a train theme. People want to visit and get out.

Si far, like her benefactors?, not impressed. Maisie makes bring a detective/pi look easy: you get to boss around the rare person who pays you (who is a referrel) and juat follow peo. In the same outfit each time. If I were the man I'd just do that myself.
