This is a really strange way to start a book. If this was a Kindle copy and not a physical book, I would have thought there was a glitch and I had somehow skipped to the middle of the story.
Oh well. This was recommended by two of my favorite book sellers, so I'm sure it will be good. I just wish there was some sort of explanation of what is going on.
