So does anyone cite any evidence of Adam being in a headship before the fall? Because there isn't any.

Interesting, if a bit (or a lot) of a stretch. Paul is still declaring gender roles. And perhaps he is speaking to general audiences while Aristotle spoke to a specific one.

Now we're talking! A little too fast but fascinatingly. I always thought kings were anointed due to the Bible and not the other way around. But I guess with translation, etc.

An old slippery sloap argument! And again, nicely written. What are we to make of headscarves though I wonder? Where do these things end? The eternal question.

As ever, I wish for more historical stuff. Right now we are getting some boilerplate feminism. Well told though.

The idea that the OG Adam is used as an example of men's divine power over women is beyond hilarious to me. This guy ****** up, therefore our gender should be in charge. The fall of man is rougher on women but it doesn't make a case for men either.

I don't know if this less than 300 page book will be enough for me to prove anything but I am excited to learn something.

Why do I keep doing this to myself? Barr is pretty dramatic. Her husband was fired from youth ministry (a full time job?) for speaking up for women. Ok, bad. A couple other people left or made bad decisions. Ok, bad. But then we go all the way to rape and cover ups and Christian identity and oh good we're starting now
