I am liking the book more than I thought I would, mainly being told about different cultural practices in China I didn't know. Although the main character and her husband still are having problems. Like when she was pressured into drinking and when she mentioned her discomfort by it and his response is "Who cares if you drink one glass of beer? It won't kill you" (Kason 88). Even though she wasn't drinking for him.
