Looking at the reviews, this looks fascinating; do you know what theological tradition Radner comes from?

Yes, Radner is an Anglican. It seems that most writers on the subject of figural reading are Anglican (Radner, Don Collett, Christopher Seitz, Richard Hays, etc). A similar approach is that of Craig Carter (Reformed Baptist), whose book on interpretation advocates for figural reading, though using different vocabulary at times.

I've read Carter's two related books (interpreting scripture and contemplating God), Richard Hays' "Reading Backwards" I'm due to read soon.

I'd be interested to see more of this from Reformed folk.
